I have just enjoyed an overnight visit from a couple who used to be my neighbours more than 15 years ago. A few weeks ago, just home from work, with my key in the door, I heard what sounded like an explosion.  Living on a corner, I knew that it could only be a road accident.  As I ran out to the intersection I could see that some of my neighbours were already there.  Two cars had collided and occupants of both cars were very shocked but with no obvious physical injuries.  It was important to make the area safe, to comfort the victims, and to call emergency services.  Within ...
